It’s always exciting getting a parcel. And I have two new parcels from my favourite drug stores to show you!
I like ordering online from Boots and Superdrug because my local stores are quite small and I don’t always find everything I want. Plus, I find it easier to pick up bargains with offers calculated for you and free gifts automatically added to your basket.
My Boots order mostly consisted of the essentials but I have got a few bits and pieces to try out and some reviews coming up.
I got the L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore Shampoo and Conditioner which is one of my favourites along with the Hair Masque from the same range which I haven’t tried before.
Soap and Glory had a three-for-two offer on so I treated myself in the bath and body department with the Up Toned Girl Body Lotion, Sugar Crush Body Scrub and Glow Getter bronzing spray. I didn’t exactly need a new body lotion or body scrub but these looked too pretty to resist. And I wanted to test the claims of the Up Toned Girl as a firming body lotion. I also grabbed some new exfoliating gloves to go with the scrub.
La-Roche Posay is a new find in skincare for me. Having recently tried their Effaclar Duo and loving the results, I decided to give their foundation and moisturiser a go. The Effaclar H Multi-Compensating Moisturiser is designed to add some moisture back into oily skin that’s been through drying treatments. I haven’t tested these products out yet but La-Roche Posay will make more appearances in my blog posts!
Another essential for me is my nails. I have a terrible nail biting habit that contradicts with my love of nail polishes. Nailene’s range of petite square nails are perfect for my tiny nail beds and general struggle to use false nails in everyday life. With these Nailene falsies, I don’t need to worry about my lack of natural nails as these are a good size for me and don’t get in the way. They’re also much longer lasting than other false nails I’ve tried with the included glue holding up strong.
On to my Superdrug parcel! I can’t wait to tell you about the up-coming review I’ve got planned on the Barry M Moten Metals nail paint collection, which is why I grabbed three colours from the range to try along with three new Makeup Revolution blush palettes which will likely make another review post.
If you can’t tell, it was three-for-two on beauty at Superdrug, but I also grabbed an offer on the B. Skincare range. I’ve never tried it out before but I was looking for a serum, which I picked up along with a hyaluronic acid facial spritz. I’m a fan of hyaluronic acid facial pads for skincare but I’ve never seen it in spray form before. It’s super refreshing to use on a morning or even over makeup to keep skin looking hydrated. The B. Pure Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes came free with my purchases so I’m keen to try those out too.
Let me know what you’ve been testing!
