May Faves

Hello lovely readers! Following my first favourites post, I thought it was time to update you with what I’ve been enjoying recently.

Brown Eyeliner

Having always used black, I had no idea that brown would work so well! My all-time favourite eyeliner is the Avon Supershock gel liner which I wish they did in brown but their glimmersticks are great and I also picked up a fab brown L’Oreal gel liner.

Revlon Insta-Fix Foundation Sticks

I have two of these so far- one for foundation and one that I’m using for contour. I’ve never got on with cream contour but I’m finding it surprisingly easy with a stick. They give light coverage so I wouldn’t use these all the time but they’re great for travel or for keeping in my handbag for touch-ups.

Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Mask and Peel

Despite the name, this mask is more like a facial scrub. The pot it comes in looks tiny but holds tons of product and I love it for exfoliating my face every few days. It works wonders unclogging my pores and making my skin look clearer but the effects don’t really last long and it’s soon time to reapply!

Real Techniques Setting Brush

I’m so behind on discovering Real Techniques, but now I have a few in my collection and their setting brush is a fast favourite of mine. I’ve used it for all sorts of things but I find it’s amazing for blending concealer- particularly under the eyes.

Barry M Nail Paint Diamond Glitter

Great for adding a touch of sparkle to any look, this glitter polish can be applied over existing colour or layered up on its own. Barry M polishes aren’t the best on the market but they look pretty and top the list for budget nails.

Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray

I’ve had this oil for a while now but hardly ever remember to use it. Since I’m trying to get better at using up all the body moisturisers and associated products cluttering up my bathroom, I’ve been spraying my skin with this after a shower and the results are amazing. Silky soft skin that lasts!

La-Tweez Tweezers

With the state of my poor over-plucked brows, I know I should stay away from the tweezers. But isn’t it always the case that the stray hairs keep on growing when the rest of my brows refuse?

I had a pair of these tweezers for years before the LED light eventually refused to work and I decided it was time to invest in a new set. Hopefully these ones with a funky new design will last as long!

B. Makeup Brush Cleanser

I’m super lazy when it comes to washing my makeup brushes so this spray cleanser comes in handy for giving my brushes a quick refresh in between cleans.

Let me know what you’ve been loving this month! x
