Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Pleasuredome Review

I was excited to receive this eyeshadow palette in my mystery bag when I did a Tam Beauty haul. At the request of poisonedannie I’m going to be sharing my Makeup Revolution Salvation palette review for you!

If you’ve used a Makeup Revolution palette before, this one is no different. It’s the standard black plastic case with a handy mirror inside. It comes with one of those (useless) double-ended sponge applicators that I will likely never use.

The palette contains 12 shimmer shades and 6 mattes, all of which are usable colours. The shades are quite varied with some brights and neutrals but you can create some really interesting looks with this and the colours blend nicely together.

The colours aren’t as pigmented as I expected but actually blend really well on the eye.

Most of these shades blend well together and work especially nice paired with a cream eyeshadow base such as the Maybelline Color Tattoos or the L’Oreal Eye Paints. There is some fall out which does get a bit messy but I find that with most of my palettes.

I found these shadows last most of the day with a primer, though the shimmer effect does wear off quite quickly. I probably wouldn’t use this palette if I knew I needed makeup to last all day but I’d say the wear time is the same as the other MUR palettes if you’ve tried them.

Overall, I do like this palette and think it’s perfect for creating daytime looks that you can easily add some colour and drama to. I’m glad I got this free in my mystery bag but it retails for just £4 from Superdrug or Tam Beauty so is an absolute bargain!

Have you tried this palette? Let me know your thoughts! x
