So today is my birthday and I wanted to use some of my favourite makeup along with some new products to create a birthday look!
I did use a lot more products than I normally would (mostly on my eyes) but I thought why not?
I did my brows first as usual with my Freedom Duo Brow Powder in dark brown and L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper, finishing with Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.
My favourite part of this look is the eye makeup! I used my custom Z Palette. I mentioned this palette in my eyeshadow palette collection post but I’ve added a few more single shadows from ColourPop since (ColourPop haul coming soon!)
I first primed my eyes with Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Primer, then applied L’Oreal Eye Paint in Sunset Goals all over the lid. I softened the orange tone with Makeup Geek Frappe from my palette and put this in my crease. With a damp flat brush, I packed ColourPop Pressed Shadow in the shade High Strung into the centre of my lid and then blended out the outer edges with anther ColourPop shadow in the pink shade Pebbles.
I took their deep mustard yellow shade Paper Tiger onto my lower lash line and then applied eyeliner- Essence Pencil in Say Hi Light on my waterline and NYX glide on liner in Golden Bronze blended out below. I tightlined with Avon Supershock gel liner pencil in black and finished with mascara, L’Oreal Lash Paradise and Clinique High Impact for my bottom lashes.
I kept my face makeup simple with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in 52 Vanilla mixed with a generous dollop of Soap & Glory Hocus Focus for some glow. My undereye area didn’t look too dark so I skipped concealer, just applying a little Collection Lasting Perfection to blemishes on my chin and set with e.l.f. Undereye Setting Power and Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot. I finished with Bourjois Bronzing Powder and a light sweep of Soap & Glory Glow all Out.
More new ColourPop products for my lips- I used their Lippie Pencil in Aquarius and Ultra Matte Lip in Bumble, topping with a tiny bit of Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Plucker Extreme Plump Gloss.
I set my face with my New Look Fix Setting Spray and that’s the look completed!
