Days of Christmas #2: Winter Skincare Essentials

Hi my lovelies, welcome to the second day of my Christmas content! I’ll just apologise now for the image…Winter is making it increasingly difficult to take nice photos!

Anyway, this post is all about my skincare faves in the Winter months. I tend to wear less makeup over this period and concentrate on my skin more so I’ve picked a few pieces out to talk about!

Winter skincare

The Body Shop Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser

Sometimes I’m lazy when it comes to washing my face and rely on makeup removers and micellar water. With my skin suffering from breakouts recently, I’ve been trying to remember to using this skin clearing foaming cleanser from The Body Shop.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum

I use night cream/day cream reliably so rarely use an additional moisturiser, but this 2 in 1 product is ideal for keeping my skin hydrated in the colder months. With my skin freaking out at the moment, I’m also trying to use fewer products so this is ideal for that, and who doesn’t want extra radiance?

Boots Botanics Radiance Balm

I don’t always remember to use this, but this balm is a good way to add some glow back into my skin if I’m using mattifying or pore-filling primers as my primary concern.

Face masks

The one pictured is my mini Mario Badescu Flower & Tonic Mask. Face masks are a must for pampering sessions on those cosy winter nights. I only use a mask once a week as my skin is so problematic right now but I think they’re essential for winter skincare!

What are your essentials for Winter skincare?
