Having managed to rack up over £80 in Boots points last year, I thought a guilt-free haul was in order. It’s not entirely without guilt since my biggest issue with excessive buying is storing and using up products rather than the money I spend, but it’s still amazing to get free stuff! (I don’t want to think about how much I spent at Boots to get those points…)
Paco Rabanne Olympea Giftset
I’d already decided I wanted to get a perfume, and the January sales provided the perfect opportunity. I managed to get the 50ml bottle with a body lotion for £38.99. Still half my points left to spend on makeup!
NYX Contour Kit
I have very few contouring products in my collection and wouldn’t usually splash out the £18 it costs to buy this kit, but points cards are meant for treats, surely?
One thing I’ve noticed with a lot of NYX products is that the expiry date is really short, just 6 months is recommended for this palette! Even if I was a contour master, I’d never get through this in 6 months! I do love that the pans are removable and refillable, though, so I can replace them.
NYX Pigment shade ‘Stunner’ & NYX Glitter Shade ‘Violet’
I’ve had my eye on the NYX glitters and loose pigments for ages so I picked up one of each. I rarely use either in everyday makeup but they both look so pretty!
NYX Lingerie shade ‘Exotic’
I’ve tried a few NYX lip products but never the lingerie liquid lipsticks so I opted for the most me shade Exotic. I like the formula of these, though they are a bit more drying than their lip creams.
Collection Primed & Ready Primer
Finally, I picked up a primer from Collection. I have a few half-used primers to get through before I can even look at this but I wanted to try it!
As you might have seen from some of my recent posts, I am trying to use up more of the stuff I have before I buy new things but I think I made some good investment choices with this haul. And it was all free!
Let me know what you think in the comments! Love x
