Everyday Makeup Stash: February 2018

It’s been a month since I started this shop my stash type project to get through my collection and help me discover what I really love but not that long since I first posted about it. By the end of the month, I was ready for a change in rotation!

Here’s January’s post, in case you missed it.

So, here’s how I did with the products I chose last time and what I will be using for February!

Primer: e.l.f. primer, Benefit POREfessional, e.l.f. undereye primer, Huda Beauty Primer

These are all the same primers I had before but I think the e.l.f. one is almost done so I’ve thrown the Huda one in there to test it out too. So far, I’m not loving it but I’ll keep trying!

Foundation: Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable, Avon Ideal Flawless

I’ve swapped last month’s Charlotte Tilbury and Bourjois foundations for the Rimmel one which I had previously enjoyed and the Avon one which is the oldest in my collection so time to get it used! Both of the January foundations got some use so I’m happy to try something else for February!

Concealer: Colourpop No Filter, Maybelline The Eraser Eye, NYX Full Coverage pot

Keeping the Maybelline one around as it’s nearly done and replacing my empty Collection concealer with the Colourpop one.

Other base: Sleek Colour Correcting palette, Huda foundation samples, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Liquid Opal mini, Clinique Pore Refining Solutions, Soap & Glory The Fill Monty

These are all exactly the same as last time, to be honest! I barely reached for any of them!

Powder: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish, Avon Magix HD Finishing Powder

I’m keeping my powders the same for now. I have a Rimmel powder that’s more in need of using than the CT but I’m testing it out for a review so want to keep using it.

Blush: Physician’s Formula Butter Blush Rose Plum

Both the Primark palette and Makeup Revolution blush from last time got some use so I’ve decided to give this new one a go!

Highlight: Sleek Solstice palette, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Opal, Physician’s Formula Butter Highlight Champagne

I’ve kept a mini of Becca Opal but swapped out my Primark palette which was sitting at the bottom of the stash for the Sleek Solstice palette. Champagne Pop got a lot of use though so I’m happy to also switch that for the new PF one.

Bronzer: Physian’s Formula

I’ve put my project pan on my Rimmel bronzer on hold for now as I decided it’s a little too orange for the winter months and works better in summer. Time to give my newest bronzer a go!

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade medium brown, Makeup Revolution Brow Pencil Brunette, L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper, Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, New Look Highlight Pencil

All my brow products are staying the same for now!

Eyes: e.l.f. eye Primer, L’Oreal Infallible Eye Paint Nudist, ColourPop Super Shock Shadow Kathleenlights

Not much changed in my eyes pile except I’ve finished one primer and moved on to another and added the ColourPop shadow.

Mascara: Benefit Roller Lash, Clinique High Impact

The only change here is that I’ve put my Soap & Glory mascara away for now (I mean, it’s probably time for it to go in the bin but…) so I can really focus on using these minis up.

Liner: Avon Supershock black, L’Oreal browny crush

Again, no big changes here except I’ve put my Max Factor liquid liner away as I wasn’t using it.

Don’t forget to check out my latest palette of the week post to find out what eyeshadow palettes I’m using!
