Product Empties #6: February 2018

Just like in my January empties, I don’t feel like I’ve got through much stuff. I’m not sure if monthly is the best way to go or if I should post every so many products.

New Look Makeup Setting Spray

I’m quite impressed with myself to have got through this. Not because I didn’t like it or anything but because it seemed like such a big bottle. I used this more for spraying my brushes than setting my makeup but I don’t think it’s a bad spray at all. I just haven’t really found that setting sprays do much yet!

Repurchase? Maybe, but I’m keen to try others

e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer

I’m not sure how I felt about this primer really. It had a strong tea tree type scent and made my face look smoothed out but it didn’t do much for my makeup application or make it last any longer. I wouldn’t say it made me look ‘poreless’ either but it was very smoothing.

Repurchase? Probably not

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel mini

I loved this stuff when I first got it. It just fixes my brows in place like nothing else but it is incredibly sticking and makes my brows feel like they’ve been super glued!

Repurchase? The full size is pricey so probably not but I do have another mini

Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner

I meant to pick up the shampoo rather than the normal conditioner. I love the 3 minute miracle but I literally thought the conditioner was shampoo for pretty much the whole bottle so…

Repurchase? Yes to the 3 Minute Miracle

Bath & Body

Baylis & Harding Beauticology Candy Apple Bodywash

This is the first of many from Christmas giftsets to get used up. It smelt divine but it was a jelly type consistency so it slipped out of my hands and I used it up in about three washes.

Repurchase? Can’t but no

Mandarin Spa Amber Heaven Shower Cream

I ended up using most of this to clean my brushes as I jut wasn’t a fan of the smell!

Repurchase? Nope

Ted Baker Body Spray Mint

This is another Christmas gift from a trio of body sprays- there’s also a white and a pink and they’re all named after the colour rather than the scent. This wasn’t minty but it was very fresh and I got through it very quickly.

Repurchase? Don’t think I can but I would use this again

Bio Oil

I’ve had this bottle of the classic body oil for years now so I’m glad to have got through the last bit. I never really used it consistently enough to tell what it was doing but it felt nice on my skin.

Repurchase? Maybe but I’m not in a hurry

Avon Chocolate Orange Bubble Bath (not pictured)

This was a giant litre bottle of bubble bath released one Christmas I believe. It was too big to fit inside my photo tent when I took these pictures and took up too much space in my bathroom so I’m glad to get it gone!

Repurchase? Not this scent, no

bliss Multi Face-eted

This is an all-in-one clay mask came in a Look Incredible box and I wasn’t sure at first but I’m glad I kept using it. I loved this but I generally love a clay mask so I don’t think it’s worth the money. It’s a nightmare to wash off your face too!

Repurchase? No but I would use it again

Mario Badescu Flower & Tonic Mask mini

I got this in a set of MB skincare and it was probably my least favourite from everything I’ve tried. It smelt very refreshing and felt nice on the skin for a pamper session but I didn’t notice it doing much.

Repurchase? No

Nip + Fab Gylcolic Night Pads Extreme

I’ve used these pads before and I said at the time I wasn’t too bothered about repurchasing but then I realised that they had actually faded some of the pigmentation on my skin and I had to grab these again when I spotted them on offer.

Repurchase? I have another to use but yes

That’s everything for February! I love empties posts so I hope you did too!
