Pixi T-Zone Peel-Off Mask Review

I don’t focus on skincare enough on my blog, and the Pixi T-Zone Peel-Off Mask featured in my 2019 project pan as something I’d like to use more, so that’s what I’m reviewing for you today.

Pixi T-Zone Peel Off Mask review

Packaging

The Pixi T-Zone Peel-Off Mask comes in the classic Pixi pale green colour in a squeezy plastic tube with gold lettering and a screw cap. I prefer a squeezy tube for this sort of mask because it makes it easy to get the product out and is hygienic.

Price

This retails for £18 in the UK and can be purchased from Pixi stockists like Boots, Marks & Spencers and Cult Beauty. You get 45ml of product in here, making this face mask in the mid-price range.

Application

The mask itself is a metallic green colour that’s pretty much the same colour as the green tube. I find this super fun to apply but the mask is quite a thick and sticky texture so it can get messy.

This is a peel-off mask designed for use just in the t-zone as it claims to detoxify skin, remove impurities and oil. What I like about this is that the peel-off aspect is actually pretty good. It takes about 10-15 minutes to completely dry depending on how thick you apply it but, once it’s dry, it really does peel off way better than any other peel-off maks I’ve tried. The only issue I have here is that the texture makes even application quite difficult.

Effect

I didn’t think to take before and after photos, but I do think this mask definitely does something for my skin. It does reduce oil, though no more than any other product does and it does make my skin feel fresh. I can still see my pores and some blackheads after using it and it’s not one of those masks that physically pulls the junk out of your skin but I can see some difference and I do enjoy using it.

Overall, the Pixi T-Zone Mask isn’t an essential face maks that I would rush out to repurchase but it’s fun to try if you enjoy peel-off masks and I do think it works to some extent.
