March 2019 Beauty Favourites

I can’t believe we’re already a week into April! I had planned on doing a monthly edits posting covering what I’ve been using and enjoying but I fancied writing a full monthly favourites post exploring everything in more details.

March faves

NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer

I can’t quite pinpoint exactly what I love about this primer but I held off on trying it for so long because my skin is already pretty oily and I didn’t think this would work for me but it just gives my skin that glowy, hydrated look with adding extra oiliness.

Pixi Café con Dulce

I found this palette for the bargain price of £10 in TK Maxx. I’m not sure it’s worth the £28 retail price but for the price I paid, it’s amazing value! These shimmers are perfect for highlights, blush toppers or eyeshadow.

Clinique ID Moisturiser

I was sceptical picking this up as I really wasn’t expecting the cartridge thing to work. My favourite moisturiser is the Clinique Moisture Surge so I opted for the hydrating jelly moisturiser with the cartridge for uneven skin tone. After only a couple of uses, I felt like I could already see a difference in my skin and my pigmentation looked better. I did breakout a little bit around my chin but I think it’s either hormones or my skin reacting to the new product so I think it will settle down.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

I never talk about fragrances on my blog but Lancome holds a special place as my favourite luxury brand. This one is probably a little more sweet smelling than I usually go for but I have to mention it for how long it lasts on my skin. I ordered the full size after using a mini and I’ve discovered I can use this on my skin without getting a rash like I do with a lot of perfumes.

Barry M Molten Metals Nail Paint Peachy Feels

Barry M make the best nail polish and I’ve tried loads from this collection but this stunning peachy gold shade is unlike any other polish I own. I can’t stop admiring my nails when I’m wearing it!

Did you discover any new products recently?
