Friday Faves: Lipgloss

When it comes to posts I thought I’d never write, a roundup of my favourite lipglosses is pretty up there. It’s ages since I did a Friday Faves and I thought since I’ve never been a gloss girl but now have a preference for glossy lips, this would be a fun one to do.

ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip ($7, ColourPop)

ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip

I only have one shade in ColouPop’s Ultra Glossy formula- the shade Boo from the Disney Designer collection but it’s such a pretty neutral pink and the gloss formula is really nice and not too sticky.

I Heart Revolution Chocolate Glosses (£3, Revolution)

I have a few shades from this collection and I think they’re fantastic for the money. They are mostly nudes and varying chocolate-themed shades but I have faith in the non-sticky-but-still-gorgeous-gloss formula that makes me think the latest release of Revolution lip products will be just as amazing and equally affordable.

Lime Crime Wet Cherry Glosses (£16, Look Fantastic)

I  bought the green glitter shade Cherry Slime on a whim as I don’t have anything else like it. Lime Crime isn’t a brand I’ve actively supported and bought from in the past but I enjoyed the formula of this gloss so much I picked up another shade. They might be the most expensive of the bunch but there’s something about the gorgeous pigments and how juicy they make my lips look that I highly recommend.

Revolution Lip Toppers (£2.80, Revolution)

These are on sale at the moment. Presumably, they’re discontinuing the Jewel Collection line they come from but they’re super pretty sparkly lip toppers if you can get hold of them. Not a traditional lip gloss but pairs really well with lipstick and one I enjoy.

PS…High Gloss (£2, Primark stores)

The cheapest of the bunch comes from Primark but it holds up against more expensive offerings IMO. They don’t offer many shades, or at least not in my local Primark, and it’s not accessible for everyone but I would recommend giving these a chance if you see them.

How does everyone else feel about lipgloss at the moment? Let me know any you think I should check out!
