With the next lot of empties piling up, I thought it was time I got this post up. I’m really happy at how well I’m doing at using things up, though it hasn’t stopped me buying new things! Read on to find out what I used up and what I thought:
Makeup
Barry M Unicorn Primer Drops
I reviewed these primer drops here but I was impressed by how this primer actually extended the wear of my makeup. With just 15ml of product, this didn’t last very long and it’s not the cheapest out there but I did enjoy it.
Repurchase? Maybe when I’ve got through the primer stash
Tarte Maneater Mascara
Tarte always get mascaras right and this plastic-wand mini was my go-to for ages. It gives me the fluttery, separated lashes I love but I think there are cheaper alternatives.

Avon Mark. Matte Concealer
This was a good concealer with decent coverage and a nice non-drying finish. It was a good colour match for me, though it’s worth noting that this is the shade ‘Medium’ and there are only two other shades available which is pretty shocking.

PS…Skinny Brow Pencil
Skinny brow pencils aren’t really my thing because it’s easy to use them up quickly but if I’m going to use one, it would definitely be this £2 option. It performs just as well as pricier options do IMO and it’s worth having one in my collection.

Lancome Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover
I’ve used this in mini form a couple of times but this is my first full size. When I first used it, it was the best eye makeup remover ever and the only thing I’d tried that was suitable for contact lenses but I actually really enjoy the much cheaper version Primark do now.

Sanctuary Spa Diamond Dust Refining Scrub Mask
Is it a known thing that Sanctuary do skincare and not just those bath sets you get at Christmas? I expected this to be like a pink clay mask but it has a creamier texture and doesn’t dry down like clay masks do. I think this gave pretty decent results though with softening, smoothing and brightening qualities. At RRP, it’s £12 but it’s frequently on offer in Boots and Superdrug.

PS…Naturals Cleansing Wipes
I picked these up from Primark as they are supposed to be biodegradable and better for the environment. I’m not sure how accurate that is but they did the job and weren’t any worse quality than normal wipes.

Bath & Body
PS…Coconut Water and Mango Body Scrub
While most of us seem on-board with Primark’s makeup and skincare offerings, I haven’t heard much about their bath and body care stuff. I picked up this £3 body scrub not expecting much but it actually surprised me. Plus, you get loads of product for the money so a good purchase for me.

Bath & Shower Cranberry & Pomegranate Fragrance
I’m not certain what the brand of this is but I think it came from a Christmas giftset. Although it was a nice scent, the product wasn’t great and the packaging felt really cheap- you can see in the picture how bad the label looks!
Repurchase? Can’t but no
Sainsbury’s Bath Foam with Sea Minerals Extract
I really like sea salt scented products so I enjoyed trying this. As a bubble bath, it didn’t do anything special but it was inexpensive and smelt good.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub
I was disappointed with this hair scrub but only because I expected it to be good for my flaky scalp, whereas its real purpose is to cleanse and purify the hair.
Repurchase? No
That’s everything for now but the next one won’t be long!
